(TULSA, Okla.) – The OK PLAY! Children’s Expo presented by St. John is Tulsa’s largest children’s event, bringing in both local and regional vendors and educational exhibits. The third annual OK PLAY! presents several hands-on, educational exhibits and fun activities for visitors to enjoy – FREE of charge. The two-day event is scheduled for April 19 and 20th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Tulsa Convention Center Exhibit Halls.
The OK PLAY! set up is divided into different zones that focus on various educational and developmental experiences. These zones encompass science and discovery, creative arts, sports and fitness, and a free inflatables area. Exhibitors will be stationed in each zone to provide activities and games for the children, as well as vendors selling quality children/family products and services.
The OK PLAY! zones will include activities such as free golf lessons/driving range area from the South Central PGA, demonstrations and games with a local high school robotics team and live performance groups on the Main Street Tulsa stage. The J2 Crew will be on-site for sing-a-longs, dance parties and fun interaction for the kids. Additionally, the SUPERPLAY Inflatable Zone will return as it was one of the most popular activities in 2012. This area features large inflatable jumps, slides, obstacle courses and games for kids to enjoy – all free of charge.
“OK PLAY! has become an annual tradition for Tulsa families. The expo is a terrific opportunity for children to learn and play while showcasing the Tulsa community’s summer activities and programs to keep their child engaged throughout the year,” said Jeff Nickler, assistant general manager of SMG Tulsa.
