(Tulsa, Okla.) April 3, 2013 – SAVOR… Tulsa, the food and beverage division of SMG, seeks additional non-profit groups interested in fundraising opportunities for their organizations by staffing concession stands at the BOK Center and Tulsa Convention Center during events.

Since opening its doors in 2008, SAVOR… has helped local non-profit organizations raise more than $875,000. Area organizations provide volunteer staff for venue concession stands, and in doing so a portion of the proceeds are returned to the participating organizations.

Participating organizations are required to be 501c3 charities. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and have a food handler’s permit. Concession stand assignments per event may vary from two, to as many as ten volunteers from an organization. Groups are able to sign up for events on a first come first served basis, and based on volunteer availability, they can decide what areas they are able to staff.
