(Tulsa, Okla.) March 24, 2015 – The SMG-managed BOK Center ranked #1 in the Midwest in 2014 according to Venue’s Today 2014 Top Stops for venues with seating capacities of 15,001 or more. The rankings, announced in the April edition of the trade publication, are based on concert and event gross ticket sales from  February 1, 2014 through January 31, 2015 as reported to Venue’s Today.

“It was an incredible year for BOK Center. We couldn’t have continued success without such great support from the Tulsa community and the ticket buyers who help us sell out show after show,” said Jeff Nickler BOK Center General Manager. ” We are very appreciative of the artists and promoters who continue to think of BOK Center as a must play venue. This #1 ranking is a direct reflection of the hard work that our entire team put forth this year.”

In 2014, BOK Center hosted multiple sold out shows including Cher (March 29), George Strait (April 19), Bruno Mars (June 4), Katy Perry (October 6) and Eric Church (November 1). The venue also hosted the City of Tulsa’s first televised UFC event in August and a sold out One Direction show in September, which was the only arena show on the stadium tour of North America. In January 2015, BOK Center hosted seven sold out Garth Brooks performances over a span of six nights.
