THE NEXT CHAPTER OF BOK CENTER BEGINS HERE
Since opening in 2008, BOK Center has not undergone a major renovation. As venues across the region invest in their facilities, these proposed improvements would help Tulsa keep pace and compete for major concerts and sporting events. The vision is to enhance every guest experience, better serve the artists, athletes and crews behind each event, and amplify BOK Center’s impact - bringing visitors to Tulsa, supporting local businesses and keeping downtown at the center of the action.
From upgraded seating and a new center-hung scoreboard to modernized restrooms, the proposed improvements would reach throughout the arena. Premium-level concepts include renovated suites and loge boxes, plus a new full-service restaurant open on event days. Behind the scenes, modernized production offices, dressing rooms, team facilities and tour catering areas would better serve the people who bring each event to life.
On November 3, 2026, voters decide whether to update Tulsa’s Hotel Guest Tax, a fee paid only by hotel, motel and short-term rental guests. It hasn’t changed in over 40 years, and Tulsa is now the only major city in the region still charging the old rate. Learn how the proposed Hotel Guest Tax increase would help fund improvements to BOK Center and Arvest Convention Center.
